Privacy.
The short version: we collect what we need, sell nothing, and never share your sugar log with anyone.
What we collect
The information you choose to log: sugar entries, cravings, quit plan, identity statement, module completion. Plus the technical essentials required to keep your account working: email address, Stripe customer ID if you subscribe, and login session data.
What we never collect
We do not track you across the web, we do not sell your data to third parties, we do not run advertising trackers, we do not share health data with insurers, employers, or marketing platforms. Your craving journal is yours.
Where it lives
SugarQuit is built on the base44 platform. Your account data is stored in EU data centres under the base44 infrastructure. Stripe handles payment processing — SugarQuit never sees your card details. Generated weekly insight reports (Plus tier) are stored as MediaAsset entities in our workspace hub, accessible only by you.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can export everything, correct anything, delete your account entirely, or restrict processing. Email privacy@sugarquit.app and we will respond within 30 days. Account deletion is permanent and irrevocable.
Cookies
Only the strictly necessary kind — session token for auth, CSRF protection, theme preference. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
A note on health data
Your sugar log, cravings, and quit plan are not medical records. SugarQuit is wellness education and behaviour-change tooling, not a diagnostic or therapeutic medical device. If you have a serious metabolic condition, consult your GP — SugarQuit complements medical care, never replaces it.
Changes
If we materially change what data we collect or how we use it, we will email you and surface a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
